Mocha Non-Dairy Sweet Creamer

A lot of our friends have been coming into the shop to buy our Cacao Almond Mylk or Cacao Hemp Mylk. Both are packed with protein and fiber. We keep the nut of the seed or nut in the milk, which results in a thicker more nutritious milk. Linda came into the shop to buy more and to share that she is using our thicker milk as a creamer for her coffee. I decided to try it. The combination of raw cacao and a good organic coffee was appealing to me, as both are rich in antioxidants, and I love the flavors combination. It was divine.

Check out the recipe for our Cacao Mylks and then use according to your taste preferences, just as you would any creamer. It does the job of making your coffee a heavenly treat without the refined sugar or dairy.

1/4 c hemp seed, soaked overnight and drained

4 c filtered hot water

8 pitted dates

1/4 c raw cacao

Pour the hot water over all the ingredients. Let sit for 3 minutes. Then pour into a blender and blend until the consistency you desire.
