Watermelon is a great way to stay hydrated as it's 95% water. Citrulline is an amino acid in the rind and flesh that stimulates the production of nitric oxide, which helps relax and expand blood vessels, helping to reduce blood pressure and promote blood flow. It also enhances the production of the amino acid arginine which boosts immune function and healing of any wounds.
