Easy, Quick Probiotic/Prebiotic Vegan Parmesan Cheese

One of my favorite vendors at the Farmers Market in Manhattan Beach - Pianta - gave me a wonderful bolognese sauce at the end of market day. It was divine...! I served it on some spiralized zucchini that I warmed with the sauce on the stovetop. I made a delicious vegan Parmesan that I'd love to share with you. It's a probiotic and prebiotic and will serve your gut well!

  • 1/2 cup crushed muun chi Turmeric Lemon Bark

  • 3/4 cup raw cashews

  • 3 Tbsp nutritional yeast

  • 3/4 tsp sea salt

  • Optional parsley or our favorite herb, rosemary and thyme work as well

Rough chop your Turmeric Lemon Bark. Put all ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until nicely combined and resembles a parmesan cheese. Store in a glass container and place in fridge or freezer. This wonderful mix will last you weeks in the fridge, or months in the freezer.

Always looking for quick, easy and super nutritious to share with you and your happy gut! Enjoy!
