Nondairy Cherry Cacao Ice Cream

When we eat seasonally, our bodies benefit. How fun to take advantage of these delicious cherries! And there is no better time to eat something cold and yummy. This may remind you of our cherry cacao chia pudding. It’s great for your joints, potassium levels and your skin!


Put in the freezer:

2 sliced bananas

1 c pitted dark cherries


After a few hours, add the frozen fruit to


4 T raw cacao

2 T muun chi CoCoFir

1/2 c cooked white navy bean

2 T coconut oil


Blend til silky smooth. Place ingredients in a shallow pan and freeze til firm - usually for a few hours. This cold treat is best served right away but can also be saved for another day but it will harden and may not be as smooth and creamy. You may choose to throw into a smoothie as well. Enjoy this cool treat with a friend and know your gut is happy and your oxytocin levels are high!
