CoCoFir replaces Sour Cream

Updated: Mar 29, 2021

This weekend I met a man who runs a taco cart. He wanted to learn more about plant-based eating since he’s had a ton of customers requesting that he make vegan options. He mentioned that the problem with vegan food is that it doesn‘t taste as good as the food he’s used to. Of course I had to disagree. He said, for example, there’s nothing that could replace the sour cream that so many of his customers love to plop on their tacos and burritos. Perfect opportunity to pull out my CoCoFir that I carry in my car all the time! (just in case I need a snack and in case I meet someone who has never had a kefir and would like to try It...hehe)

I told him my coconut milk kefir is plant-based and has a nice natural tang to it from the fermentation and it’s actually good for the gut unlike sour cream. He tasted it and couldn’t believe how yummy it was!! He’s now considering creating vegan options and offering muun chi kefir to “plop” on the top!
