Walnut Queso

With football season upon us, I've been exposed to lots of fake cheese that's probably made with artificial flavorings and dyes. This is a vegan cheese that is actually good for your gut. It is packed with fiber, protein and flavor from real plants.


1/2 cup hot water

1/2 cup muun chi CoCoFir

1 clove garlic

1 cup walnuts

2 T nutritional yeast

1/2 tsp cumin

1 inch turmeric root

salt and pepper to taste

1 T jalapeño or your favorite pepper


Throw all the ingredients in a blender and mix til smooth. This is a fiber rich, protein and probiotic packed queso you may want to serve your friends as you relax and cheer for your favorite team. No guilt , just goodness.
