Probiotic/Prebiotic Parsley Kale Pesto

Parsley is an herb that people think as a garnish when in fact it is packed with so many terrific vitamins and nutrients. Try using it in soups and sauces and you will feel the benefits!

It is so good for your kidneys and hormones!

  • 2 cups roughly chopped parsley - I use the tender part of the stems too! Any tough stems I save for my next batch of veggie broth

  • 2/3 cup walnuts - often walnut pieces are less expensive and just as good!

  • 1/2 cup chopped kale

  • 1/3 cup nutritional yeast

  • 4 medium garlic cloves

  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt or pink Himalayan

  • 1/3 cup olive oil

  • 1/3 cup muun chi Lemon Turmeric Chia Pudding

  • Optional muun chi Golden Turmeric Kvass

I throw the parsley and kale in a food processor and pulse til the greens are fine and blended. Add the garlic and walnuts- pulse til nicely ground. Add in the other ingredients and pulse until combined. I will add the Kvass if I'm making a pesto sauce for a zoodle dish or a pesto pasta. Happy hormones and detox!!
