Holiday Apple Crisp

Instead of an apple pie, I decided to make an apple crisp. I didn't have time to make a pie, and I had muun chi UPnola on hand, so I decided on a quick and easy version of a crisp. It takes minutes to throw together, and bakes while you eat your feast.


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.


3 apples

Cinnamon

Nutmeg

Cloves

1/2 c muun chi UPnola


Core and cut up two apples of your choice. Pulse and rough chop in a food processor.

The other apple, remove the core and puree until the consistency of apple sauce, adding CoCofir and spices to improve the sweetness.


Add the puree to the chopped apples, combine and pour the mixture into a glass container, filling it 1 inch high.

Sprinkle the apple mixture with the UPnola, adding chopped pecans if you desire. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes.


Serve warm with your favorite ice cream, or with muun chi CoCoFir, or pumpkin chia pudding dolloped on top.
