Dipping your way into yummy hummus

The beauty of the holidays is the presence of family, friends and food! During Covid times, you may or may not be able to be with others, but you can always create your own party by making one of my favorite snacks - a fresh hummus made from any number of your favorite beans mixed with some muun chi Kvass and CoCoFir.

  • 1 cup garbanzo beans or white beans

  • 2 Tbsp tahini

  • 4 Tbsp olive oil

  • 1-2 Tbsp muun chi CoCoFir

  • 1 tsp dried dill or your favorite herb, rosemary is also one that works well

  • 3 cloves garlic* (minced)

  • 3 Tbsp muun chi Kvass

  • 1 pinch salt and pepper to taste

Mix the first four ingredients in your favorite blender and slowly add your muun chi Kvass with your herbs and garlic. Taste, and then add the salt and pepper to your liking. This yummy hummus can be stored in your fridge for a few days and used to spread on your muun chi Bites, or stalks of celery or even your favorite wrap or sandwich. I love having hummus on hand for the instant party, or some handy tasty protein whenever you would like a healthy snack. Happy hummus muun chi-ing!
